MAGSY
MAGSY is a development platform for multi-agent system applications.
Each agent in MAGSY has a forward-chaining rule interpreter in its
kernel. This rule interpreter is a complete reimplementation of an OPS5
system but was further enhanced to make it more suitable for the development
of multi-agent system applications.
MAGSY is available by anonymous ftp from:
ftp.dfki.uni-sb.de
Subdirectory: pub/MAGSY/MAGSY
Until now there are the following files available:
REAME: the file you read
doc: most of the documentation which is availbale until now.
This is not to much but please note that there are
wonderful books on OPS5 (see below) and this is all
you need to get started. The more sophisticated features
of MAGSY you will be able to extract easily form the
examples.
examples: files with small MAGSY sample applications.
install: simple installation script.
Put install and the tar file for your system in a new
directory and call 'install'.
linux directory with the tar file containing the MAGSY files
for Linux (only tested with S.u.S.E. > 5.2).
solaris: directory with the tar file containing the MAGSY files
for SOLARIS (5.6) systems.
sunos: directory with the tar file containing the MAGSY files
for SUNOS (4.1.1 or later guaranteed) systems.
The sunos files are still provided but no longer supported!
