Mapping General Purpose Algorithms to Many- and Multicore Architectures

Multicore Architectures

About this seminar

The seminar will be based on state of the art articles on many- and multicore architectures and for technologies that support the porting of general purpose algorithms to such execution environments. Algorithm design will be discussed as well as compiler technologies that reduce the burden of dedicating algorithm design to specific hardware settings. Domain specific languages are discussed as a means to support the needs of different application areas.

This seminar is organised by:

Prof. Philipp Slusallek, Klaus Fischer,
Sebastian Hack, Roland Leißa
