COMMERCIAL SESSION

It is intended to devote quite a time at the first day of the meeting (the plenary day) for presentation and contacts between academia and industry, for example by invited keynote talk and short presentations on applications and products in the commercial IAT (Information Agent Technology) domain. If you are already in contact with industrial partners working together with in interesting and challenging project work you may use this meeting as a forum for exchange of ideas for projects, get further contacts to the research community, SMEs, and startup companies.

WORKING GROUP SESSIONS
One and a half days of the three days meeting are reserved for separate meetings of the two I2A SIG's working groups:

The Working Group WG-3: Human-Agent Interaction and Interfaces for Information Agents. headed by Jeremy Pitt (Imperial College, London, UK) has not been activated yet.


  PARTICIPATION

Participation is ** ON INVITATION ONLY **, that is, participation has to be confirmed by both the meeting chair and the participant. If you are interested in participating please send a short message including

  1. your name, exact affiliation (incl. phone, fax, email, web)
  2. brief report or URL pointing to your recent activities in the area of information agent technology. You are also cordially invited to send a short abstract on recently completed, ongoing or planned activities in the forefront of this research area and commercial applications performed by your company.

  3. A brief presentation and/or demonstration of your plans in projects, related product, and call for partners (if possible focussed on one of the three working groups below) at the SIG meeting is most valuable and welcome.
     

  4. indication if you need to be funded by AgentLink according to the constraints below.

   TRAVEL FUNDING

Funding is possible for up to 15 persons according to following constraints

AgentLink (AL) will fund a *maximum* of one person from each AL member node to attend *each* SIG meeting, provided that these people are *actively participating* (e.g. by presenting something). Note that travel support will *only* be available to AL members actively participating in the SIG: you may check the members list here

Please indicate your need to be funded by email or mail (see address above). You will be notified on acceptance or rejection of your claim for travel funding by email as soon as possible.
